Finance Committee

Helping ensure strong stewardship and financial transparency.

The Finance Committee oversees the financial health and operations of United Way of the Lakeshore. Working closely with staff leadership and the board, this committee reviews financial performance, helps guide financial policies, and supports responsible stewardship of community resources.

Chaired by the Board Treasurer, the committee works alongside the finance team and President/CEO and collaborates with the organization’s financial auditors during the annual audit process. While the committee includes board representation, members with expertise in financial management, accounting, or business operations are also encouraged to participate.
