Community Impact Strategy Team

The role of the Community Impact Strategy Team is to connect community conditions, strategies, and needs with the United Way investment process. United Way invests time listening to the community to determine their aspirations and needs. This public input, combined with a wealth of community and national data are the basis for our community-level goals.

The Community Impact Strategy Council brings together a diverse group of community stakeholders to provide oversight and vision. This innovative team will keep us grounded in community conditions and needs while guiding the investment process. Additionally, they will identify emerging and unmet needs in the community and recommend opportunities to collaborate.

Breakdown of Duties

  • Provide guidance to the community investment process

  • Make recommendations for collaborative opportunities

  • Link community-level goals to the investment process

  • Review community data

  • Identify and prioritize community issues

  • Vet all current and new funded partners

Commitment Level

  • Three-year term

  • Monthly meetings (1.5 hours each)

  • First Wednesday of each month, 12:00 PM – 1:30 PM
