A simple thank you for extraordinary service.
This Veterans Day, United Way of the Lakeshore and AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP are setting the table for a special afternoon of gratitude.
We invite veterans from across our community to join us for a complimentary appreciation luncheon on Wednesday, November 11, at 12:30 PM.
Following the Veterans Memorial Causeway ceremony, we hope you'll join us for a delicious meal, meaningful fellowship, and a chance to connect with others who have served.
There won't be a formal program or lengthy speeches. Just a heartfelt thank you from our team and time to enjoy good food and great company.
All Veterans Are Welcome
You do not need to be an AmeriCorps Seniors RSVP member to attend! We have reserved space for both RSVP members and veterans from the community.
When: Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at 12:30 PM
Where: United Way of the Lakeshore, 31 E. Clay Avenue, Muskegon, MI 49442
Cost: Free for registered veterans
Space: Limited to 70 veterans

Veterans Appreciation Bags
A little something extra to say THANK YOU! Help us send veterans home with a thoughtful token of appreciation. We're welcoming donations of gift cards, snacks, small gifts, branded merchandise, and other items to include in appreciation bags.
Contributions of any quantity are appreciated! In-kind donations are requested by November 5, 2026.
