C.O.G.I.C Center - Shepard’s Table Soup Kitchen
Every Tuesday & Thursday
Through our Healthy Project and the C.O.G.I.C. Community Center, the Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen is committed to being a source of support to economically disadvantaged children and their families, the homeless, and the elderly by providing a free community based nutritional meal twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4 pm to 6 pm. We want to be like Jesus, in the Bible, by feeding the multitude. We want to bring hope to those in need, by providing meals with enthusiastic and caring helpers. We pray that people will be assisted at any time they are in need of a meal.
The Mission of the Shepherd’s Table Soup Kitchen is to support and enhance the ministries of the C.O.G.I.C. Community Center, Inc. by serving a healthy, delicious meal. The Food Service Ministry has been operating under the C.O.G.I.C. Community Center since 1999. During that time, the ministry has doubled the number of events as well as the number of people served.

Salvation Army – Bell Ringing
The bell ringing season starts each November and runs through Christmas Eve, when the red kettles are packed away for the season. Volunteers are the difference between an empty kettle and one that raises about $30 per hour – enough to provide a family with two bags of groceries, or shelter an individual for a night.
