Every Women's Place

Every Woman’s Place will continue providing comprehensive services to individuals in the community. To accommodate survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking, EWP has launched two new communication tools to help survivors reach us for the services they need.

A secure and confidential online chat feature tied to our website--www.everywomansplace.org-- is now active and Victim Advocates are available during our usual Walk-In service hours. Texting by phone is also available at 231-468-6060 when survivors cannot access the internet--either when internet is not available, or when it's not safe for them to do so.

These tools have been launched at a time when COVID-19 has made in-person consultation a challenge. Yet even after we reach the point where the COVID-19 crisis is behind us, these new channels will remain open for survivors to reach out wherever and whenever they are for support and help.

You will not be denied services because you exhibit signs or have tested positive for COVID-19. If you need services and you exhibit signs of COVID-19, such as coughing, shortness of breath or a fever, please inform EWP staff and request a mask upon arrival. Our mission remains the same--to strengthen lives in the community by providing shelter, counseling, and advocacy for those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault and sex trafficking. #EWPLeads
