Ever wondered what United Way actually does? Spoiler alert: It's a whole lot more than fundraising!
Join us for United Way 101, an opportunity to get to know United Way of the Lakeshore, the people behind our work, and how we're bringing our community together to create lasting change.
From supporting early childhood literacy and expanding access to childcare to strengthening housing stability and connecting volunteers with meaningful opportunities, there's a lot happening across Muskegon, Oceana, and Newaygo counties!
Whether you're a longtime supporter, a community partner, a volunteer, or simply curious about what we do, we'd love to have you join us.
What You'll Learn:
Who We Are: Our mission, history, and the communities we serve.
What We Do: Our priorities, programs, and community initiatives.
How United Way Works: How we bring people, organizations, and resources together to address local challenges.
Where Your Support Goes: How community investments are made and how we measure impact.
How You Can Get Involved: Opportunities to give, advocate, volunteer, and make a difference.
You'll also meet members of our United Way team, hear about the work happening right here in our communities, and have an opportunity to ask questions!
