Oceana County Mobile Food Pantry – Spitler Elementary School

Join us for the Oceana County Mobile Food Pantry at Spitler Elementary School (302 Johnson Street W., Hart 49420) on Friday, September 18 at 5:00 PM.

In partnership with Feeding America West Michigan, this distribution provides fresh fruits, vegetables, dairy products, and staple food items at no cost to families in Oceana County. Approximately 200 households are served at each event.

Each Mobile Food Pantry is powered by local volunteers and supported by Hart Rotary Club, helping strengthen food access and community resiliency across our county.

🕔 Distribution begins at 5:00 PM (unless otherwise noted)
👥 Volunteers arrive between 4:00–4:30 PM

No pre-registration is required for families receiving food.

Volunteer Information

Volunteers help unload, organize, and distribute food. Individuals should be comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting food boxes.

Proxy Pick-Up Information

Many Mobile Food Pantry sites allow individuals to pick up food for another household that cannot attend in person.

If picking up for another household, you must be prepared to provide:
• Full name
• State of residency
• Household size

Some sites may limit the number of households you may represent.
