WZZM 13 ABC Online - Bicyclists ride to help United Way of the Lakeshore raise $3 Million
RAVENNA, Mich. (WZZM) - United Way of the Lakeshore kicked off its fall fundraising campaign this year with a long bike ride. 18 people rode 100 miles and another 11 rode 50 miles. The group found others to sponsor their ride and donate to the United Way.

Attention all cyclists! You can take the 100-Mile Challenge coming up next week that will benefit the United Way in your county. It started a few years ago after a group of DTE employees challenge their supervisor, Michael Demos. Demos and United Way of the Lakeshore President, Christine Robere stopped by the Weekend morng News to share details of the event.
