United Way Funded Programs

United Way funds a variety of programs which promote health and independence, including: American Red Cross (blood services, senior transportation, health & safety), Arc’s advocacy and outreach, Association for the Blind & Visually Impaired low vision/blind rehabilitation, Muskegon Community Health Project’s respiratory health program, Harbor Hospice’s patient care & bereavement programs, Muskegon Hearing & Speech’s rehabilitative audiology, Catholic Charities Senior Companion and Behavioral Health services, Volunteer Muskegon’s Retired Senior & Volunteer Program, Mercy Health Partners Life Counseling, Mercy Health Partners VNS & Hospice’s uncompensated care program, Baldwin Family Health Care’s in-home respite, Gerber Memorial Health Services, Newaygo Medical Care Facility’s enhanced wound prevention, Women’s Information Service’s sexual violence prevention, COVE’s outreach, Oceana County Council on Aging’s volunteer driving, District 10 Health Dept. Girls on the Run program,  Andre Bosse Center forensic interviewing.
